How to play
Tap a piece to see where it can go, then tap the square you want. White always moves first.
The game blocks illegal moves, so a piece can never jump over another one by mistake. When a king is in check the board shows it before you move.
Controls
Tap to select and tap to move. Use the menu button to start a new game at any time.
Tips
Develop the knights and bishops before pushing pawns, and keep the king safe by castling early. Trade pieces only when the exchange leaves your position better.
